I have been very busy and can't really blog hop and stay in touch with my dear blogging buddies or write any new posts.
The biggest problem is that my oldest son, Andy, jumped off our balcony at our condo. It was over a 20 ft. fall. He has no broken bones but they are trying to prevent such an incident from happening again. He is still in the hospital and will go 2 weeks to a transitional place before going back to school.
One of the problems is that he's having a tough time w/ 7th grade and his grades are worse than before. The other problem is that bigger kids bully him every now and then, but that's been going on for several years. It goes away for months, then it comes back. Then it goes away and comes back again. The transitional school will directly address better coping mechanisms and how to deal w/ bullying.
So I may cover this situation more later or I might talk about something else in a week or so.

Anyway, I'm SO SORRY to hear about this, Vince!!!! I understand that it's hard for you to blog or blog-hop. Just be there for your kid firsttttt...I hope that he's going to be okay mentally and physically!!!!!

it's sad too, Amel, because bullying is sooooooo common in schools it happens on every continent and nearly every school all the millions of schools out there!!
Yeah, I know...it's frustrating to hear about this. I've never been bullied in my entire life. Well, I remember one time a boy teased me too much, but it wasn't real bullying...so I can't understand why it happens so much. Sigh...

I was bullied on and off in school. Not often, but enough to know how horrible it makes you feel.
You take all the time off you and your son need.
