As you can see, my last entry was about a nasty co-worker.
Clare gave her notice that her last day was April 22. My body immediately felt a rush of happiness. Just thinking about it makes me amazed. It's funny how bad you will feel physically being surprised about bad news, and it's delightful to feel good all over when you are pleasantly surprised w/ good news. I wore a quiet, but unmistakeable smile in the office for the rest of the day.
Hopefully, things will be uneventful for the next 2 weeks that she is here.
