Dear God letters

When things are tough, or when there's something really important about to happen and I want the outcome to be positive, I will write a "Dear God" letter. I basically write better than I talk (sometimes it's hard to tell with my grammatical errors emitting from this blog like stinky sludge).

So I write down what I have to say to God. I usually write 90% of the letter in shorthand (a written language that was once used by office secretaries, but is basically a dying art with the advent of dictaphones). I write it in shorthand so that others can't read what I wrote. I wrote one this morning amid all the problems at work. I don't know if I mean it or not, but I said I would accept whatever the outcome the bosses decide on. I really can't imagine continuing working with someone so incredibly insufferable that she puts no value in my work. Making this all more poignant is that there are other attorneys that value my work. Yes, that's true. I'm not lying. I didn't stay at this law firm for 2 1/2 years doing crappy work.

I wrote my prayer. Dear God, I hope you read it and will act accordingly. & yes, I will follow whatever the decision is.

AHHHHH!!!! I learnt shorthand in Junior High School and back then I also wrote some of my journals in shorthand so that nobody understood it. ;-D

It must be hard indeed to work for someone who doesn't value your work. :-(((

I'm still crossing my fingers for you and hoping for the best. :-))))

we all need to pray and hope that the bosses above this person I'm writing about solve the problem soon and not allow it to linger.

Dear Trinity and Camera:
I wanted to go onto your respective blogs and thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming over to my blog and writing. But your blogs either wouldn't allow it or your blog is no longer open.
So thank you so much. To have someone take time out of their busy day and say they like what I write is gratifying, indeed. I humbly tip my hat off to the 2 of you.
