last night

I received a plaque last night that I wanted to share with all my dear readers.  I have been  in the St. Damian's Men's Club a little less than 15 yrs.  What does the Men's Club do?  it gives money to people in need, gives money to organizations at our church that need the money, we get together every month and take care of the business of our club and then socialize, it has done a good job of bringing a group of men from the church together as friends.  When either a member or a family member of a club member dies, we go to their funeral and wake. We work at community events and put on a Texas Hold Em tournament (night before Thanksgiving) and that is how we earn money that we give away to those in great need.

I became vice president in 2002.  I served 4 terms and two months ago, I was no longer vice president so they gave me the plaque shown in the picture above.
